What moves us

Feminine artful play-wear that inspires both softness and strength.

A dance between romance and confidence, creating dreamy & bold silhouettes, prints, and detailing that are meant to exude joy, fearlessness, and play.

NINFA (nymph in Portugese) is a space for designer Henn Zakai to explore her passion for playing with textiles and creating fits that speak of self expression, wanderlust, and sensual beauty.

Sustainability

Our garments are made in our small workshop in Bali, where Henn works closely with her team, and where everything is made in small batches, allowing you, our customers, to decide what we produce more of.

That means fair and kind pay and practices, no mass producing, and overall a feeling of an atelier vs a factory.

This is not ‘just’ for the planet, we enjoy this slow & mindful way of creating so much more. It’s more sustainable for our well being and creativity as well.

We do our best to minimize waste and water consumption wherever we can, and always strive to learn more, do better, and find new creative solutions. From imagining ways of using fabric waste for detailing during production, using recycled fabrics, and all the way to using either reusable, recycled, or biodegradable packaging.

In addition, we are in constantly researching for more sustainable materials & practices. This agenda is not a buzz word. We truly believe that every bit of effort, from all of us consuming humans, wherever we can, will absolutely accumulate and count for something. Just the shift in itself, of being more and more aware of our footprints will create ripples and change. It can’t be perfect, it never will be, but that should not discourage us from doing our bit and doing better and better all the time.

Thank you for visiting with us :)

We hope that you fall in love with what we love doing, and that whatever you get makes you feel absolutely amazing.
